HYDE PARK TAVERN – OPENS JULY 20TH
Here we are , I arrived at hyde park Friday morning ready to laydown the design I’ve been churning in my head, colours, form, asthetically yes im going to blow the walls up. I was pleased to see the contractors did there bit by pre-priming the walls jet black gotta be happy with that BANG BANG!!!!…There was alot of work to do and alot to cover and fiddled around abit , thankfully Daniel Mizza arrived fully loaded tripod and all ready to timelapse this job and was an excelent eye especially when I froze on the scaffolding which was the monster wall in the bistro area !..thanks Dan!
The work involved did have alot of flexability and freedom in regards to the overall composition and understanding of how this was going to flow , just enough as the bar is HUGE , seriously anyone who wants to work behind that bar get 2 things , a pait of roller skates and sunglasses because the orange really is bright in there, but attractive too. It works very well.
I dont really have anything bad to say keeping in mind I did have to follow the brief which was basically an image and I just had to do my own interpretation of plus the client requested more of a colour “I JUST WANT MORE OF THAT ORANGE ZACH” was the request….!!..I wont argue with that I thought..which was the only condition. A nice job well done !
